Mary Clare Peate is a Senior Economic Education Specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, where she develops economics content including lessons, online learning modules, videos, and interactives. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, she was the director of curriculum at the Marginal Revolution University (MRU) project at George Mason University and has held several other education-related roles including middle school teacher, textbook editor, and data specialist. She is currently on the board of directors of the Journal of Economics Teaching.
Scott Wolla is a nationally recognized, award-winning economic educator with 14 years of classroom teaching experience. He has published articles in journals such as Journal of Economic Education, The American Economist, and Journal of Economics Teaching, and his work has been cited by major media outlets including The New York Times, National Public Radio, and The Economist. Scott currently serves on the American Economic Association’s Committee on Economic Education and the writing committee for the Voluntary National Content Standards in Economics. Scott teaches economics as an adjunct at Washington University in St. Louis.
